Ann was a gal I worked with and her pie is one of the best I've ever tasted.
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup white corn syrup
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2-1 cup pecans
- 1 pie pastry
- Beat eggs, flour, butter and sugar until thick; add corn syrup, nut meats and vanilla.
- Pour into 9" pastry lined pie pan.
- Bake in slow oven 300F, 1 hour.
- Done when silver knife inserted in middle comes out clean.
