This is wonderful! Like strawberry short cake only better.
- 1 angel food cake
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
- 1⁄2 pint whipping cream
- 1 (10 -16 ounce) package frozen strawberries
- Dissolve Jello in boiling water.
- Add strawberries and chill until firm.
- Whip cream and add strawberry mixture.
- Cut cake into 3 layers; spread strawberry mixture between layers.
- Serve plain or with whipped topping.
