- 1⁄3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1⁄3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons agave nectar
- 2 tablespoons mustard, spicy preferred
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
directions
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until well-blended.
- Use 1 to 2 tbsp as dressing for your salad or use as a dipping sauce.

I’m so happy to find someone else who wanted to combine the taste of honey mustard dressing with balsamic vinaigrette dressing! For several years, I’ve concocted something similar, substituting agave for honey, just as you did, but my dressing was always missing ‘something’. I tried adding this and that, then I discovered your recipe and tried it tonight! It was delicious and a greet consistency! The oregano and parsley really complemented the other flavors, too. The next time, just for my taste, I will try 1 or 1.5 Tbsp of agave nectar. Thank you for creating and posting your yummy recipe!
