• 3 ounces orange juice
• 2 ounces peach nectar
• 1 1⁄2 ounces dark rum

directions

1. Pour all ingredients over ice in a highball glass. Mix well.
2. Enjoy.

Another winner! Exploring different drinks with dark rum, I used a Bacardi Select, which was perfect! And peach nectar and OJ? How could you go wrong?! Thanks for sharing, mary winecoff!

This was a decent drink. I don't drink much nowadays, but I have a bottle of Myers's Dark Rum to use up, so I found this recipe. For decades, I thought of Kern's being the peach nectar gold standard, but I couldn't find it where I live now - however, I did manage to find the imported "Jumex" brand. I made the recipe exactly as written, except that I don't have a proper highball glass and used a tall drinking glass instead. The taste is pretty good for a warm-afternoon beverage, and I've already made this recipe several times.
