  1. This looked like a very simple cheesecake, which it is, but I think it is just too simple. I added vanilla and a tad bit of lemon juice and it still didn't have very much taste to it other than cream cheese. The crust was too thick for my liking and the filling just too bland. Also, I cooked it for 25 minutes instead of 20 because it was still too runny at 20 minutes. It did set up nicely, but even after being refrigerated for at least 3 hours, when I cut into it, the filling stuck terribly to my knife, so I know it needed to have been cooked a little longer. Just not worth it in my opinion, because there are other great tasting cheesecakes out there that are very little, if no more trouble. Sorry, no masterpiece for me.

  2. The whole family loved it so it's a winner! This is so simple it's amazing. It was super easy, and very tasty, and they are pretty basic ingredients that most of us keep on hand. What I would recommend is that you should cream the cream cheese before adding the rest of the ingredients. And, let it set for about 4 hours. We let it set for about 2, and it hadn't completely set yet. But after a few more hours, it was a really wonderful cheesecake. Will definitely be making this again for my family. Thanks Cookin In Texas!

I am a housewife, I love to cook and experiment with different spices and flavors, there are not many recipe ideas I will not try. EXCEPT! anything that is extremely HOT and SPICY, I have a allot of family members living here and most of us spend the holidays together. We all Love to eat and look forward to the different AND the traditional recipes on the Holidays. My pet peeve...HUM it makes me crazy when someone cooks and leaves the mess pile up, It's easier to clean as you go, that way when the food is done you can actually sit down and enjoy it. I am very passionate about and being apart of the fight to prevent animal cruelty, and helping to educate people about what happens to Children or Pets left in vehicles on very hot or very cold days, also Pets left in extreme elements outside without the proper necessities. I believe that anyone that purposely harms or torturers a child or a animal is a Coward!
