We really loved the flavor of this dish. I used 2# chicken tenders and Sierra Mist instead of 7-Up. They almost have the same taste. Cooked a tad too long because of kitchen disaster, but the flavor was still lovely. In fact, my sister thought it had the taste of veal! We liked this very much and will have it again. Adopted for Spring 2008 PAC.

I loved the concept and the ease of cooking. I started with a frozen chicken breast and used diet Ginger Ale hoping to get the ginger flavor. The ginger ale added no discernible flavor and I added a bit of chicken base to the cooking liquid to give it a flavor boost. Also I need to mention that since I started with the frozen breast I gave it the full 8 hours on low. The meat was extremely dry and over cooked. Check the chicken at 4 hours and decide how much longer you want to give it. Made of PAC, Spring '08
