Easiest cake I have ever made!!! cooks well and keeps well


  1. Combine all ingredients and beat until lighter in colour and creamy.
  2. Cook in moderate oven.
  3. Also good for lamingtons or jelly cakes.

The second cake I ever made was a version of this cake. I didn't use self-rising flour. It' nice and easy. Great served frosted--chocolate works well--or with strawberries and whipped cream.
