Easiest cake I have ever made!!! cooks well and keeps well
- Combine all ingredients and beat until lighter in colour and creamy.
- Cook in moderate oven.
- Also good for lamingtons or jelly cakes.
The second cake I ever made was a version of this cake. I didn't use self-rising flour. It' nice and easy. Great served frosted--chocolate works well--or with strawberries and whipped cream.
