Breakfast Smoothie

"I made this when I was trying to use up stuff in the refrigerator and it came out pretty good. I used frozen cherries but I think it would be a lot more nutritious using frozen strawberries or other berries."

  1. I made this for breakfast this morning for my 3 year old, 18 month old and myself. We all really enjoyed it! I used frozen mixed berries (raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and strawberries). It was the perfect consistency. Delicious!

  2. Oh wow did this hit the spot this morning!! I only made it for one serving, but followed as written!! I normally add 1/2 a banana, but really loved this smoothie without it!! My came out the perfect thickness for my tastes, not runny at all!!! Thanks for sharing ellie, will definitely make this again!! Made for your win in the cooking games Summer Spectacular!!!

  3. This was a very good breakfast treat for me and my 3 year old DS. I used strawberries and only 1 cup of OJ. I used vanilla yogurt so omitted the vanilla and only used about 1/2T of honey as the berries were sweet. I threw in 1/2 a banana because I had one I needed to use up and I added a teaspoon of canola oil to my portion. All and all a very good healthy treat. Thanks for posting.

  4. This smoothie is fantastic.I loved it!

  5. I used strawberries and vanilla yogurt instead of vanilla extract. This was a very good smoothie. The OJ overpowered the fruit part I believe and I would reduce that next time. Thanks for an easy smoothie:)
