I was really expecting this to be much more sinful and yummy than it actually tasted. The vote from my family was that it was pretty good, but not a "must make again". We didn't like how the chocolate chips sunk to the bottom, but didn't quite melt into their own layer. This resulted in a lot of chocolate chips sticking to the bottom of my pie pan...and I had even sprayed it with Pam just in case. I had expected the cookie layer to be chewy and gooey, but instead it was airy, eggy and slightly spongy in texture. I served this warm with vanilla ice cream and it was a nice dessert but not quite what we were looking for.
