"This cookie comes out soft and is great cut like a pie and served with vanilla ice cream ( or chocolate). Make sure you use an oven proof skillet, I use cast iron."

  1. I halved this recipe and used only 1/4 cup of butter. also, I opted not to add nuts. I used our smaller 6 1/2" cast iron skillet and it took 30 minutes to bake. Easy to make, fun to eat! :)
  2. When my kids asked what was for dessert, and I said a cookie, the confused faces hit. I used 3/4 cup chocolate chips, and 3/4 cup butterscotch chips. The faces were more puzzling when I got the pan out. Ending result was a nice soft, moist cookie that I divided in fourths, after cooling, a nice twist on dessert, served with chocolate/vanilla ice cream. Made for PRMR Tag.
  3. I love this muchly. Thank goodness for good strong [pant] seams.
  4. Gracious sakes alive, I am still grinning after having a slice of this delicious cookie! I had with Vanilla ice cream and to me it's the ultimate! Doesn't get any better than this folks! Thanks for sharing Chef!
  5. So tasty! This was my first skillet cookie and it was fabulous. I used crushed Heath bars and chocolate chips. It an impressive looking dessert for guests.
