Homemade Brown Sugar Substitute

"Have you ever been in the middle of baking and realized you didn't have brown sugar? This is terrific because you don't have to make it in advance--just throw it together when you need it.   • When a recipe calls for brown sugar, use an equal amount of white sugar. Reduce the amount of the sugar by a tablespoon for every cup. Add 1 tablespoon of molasses to wet ingredients of recipe per cup of white sugar.
