Used this instead of a cake for my 2yo's birthday. Used frozen blueberries for the inside, fresh blueberries over a think layer of thick sour cream for the top. The kids gobbled it up - even the ones who "hate dairy" - and the adults enjoyed whatever bites they could get. Look for russian cottage cheese - tvorog - in local cheese shops or small groceries for proper texture.
