Tomato Simmering Sauce for Fish

"Works well for strong flavored fish like tuna, bluefish, and mackerel. From a fish cookbook ripped from the days when I didn't keep track of the source."

 1. This is a delicious sauce for fish! I used tilapia fillets because I don't care for stronger fish, but it was all terrific! I think I may cut down on the brown sugar just a bit next time I make it since I'm not using such a strong fish. I left out the celery and black pepper, and because it's all I had on hand I used apple cider vinegar instead of white vinegar and honey mustard instead of the prepared mustard. Everything was really tasty and we'll definitely be making this one again. Thanks for sharing it! :)

I've collected recipes since I was a teen. After all these years I'm trying to get all my index cards and clippings, that still sound interesting to me, posted here so that I can find them and eventually make them!

I've posted some of my Mom's recipes. I regret not having paid more attention to my Grandmothers' cooking. They made some dishes that I miss and there were/are no recipes for them.

I have a wonderful DH and 2 wonderful sons.
