1. Really fantastic and easy recipe! I adapted mine for the grill like so: Combine soy sauce, lemon, garlic and brown sugar and marinate the salmon for 15-30 min. Put the salmon on the grill and put the leftover marinade in a sauce pan over high heat to thicken. When the salmon is done, pour sauce over the salmon and sprinkle with parsley and chives.
My method made barely enough sauce for two salmon steaks, so adjust accordingly.
Thank you so much for sharing!

 2. Hello from Cranbrook! This was so easy and tasty. Now I won't hesitate to make Salmon for supper. Who said fast can't taste good and be healthy! I followed the recipe exactly, but must admit I drizzled a very tiny bit of maple syrup on my kids serving so my very young eaters wouldn't complain and I got asked for seconds : ) I'm one very happy mom Thank You so much Margi for a Awesome recipe from the other end of BC (thumbs up)

 4. I used one salmon fillet for this recipe and just cut down on the garlic, soy and brown sugar. Great flavours and cant beat the quick and easiness of it. Thanks for sharing. :)

Hi there, I live on an island off the coast of beautiful British Columbia, Canada. I have a few favorite cookbooks, the older the better! #1 is Chatelaine's 363 Home Tested Recipes. It is traditional and basic. I also love the older church cook books as the recipes have actually been cooked in real kitchens by real moms!
