Tzivia's Mom's Chewy Molasses Cookies

"Tzivia's mom, Ruth, was a regal woman who could make jeans and a shirt with rolled up sleeves look like an outfit for a queen. She was poised, lovely, and down to earth. She gave her daughter this recipe, her daughter gave it to me, and I give it to you. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. It does well doubled or even tripled."

<p>Sara Chana (z'l) was a beloved daughter, wife and mother. She was the wife of a Rabbi and entertained many people in their home, especially on the Sabbath and Jewish Holidays. She loved to cook and to share her recipes. She was a very active member of the Kosher &amp; Jewish Cooking Forum and was loved by many members here as well.
