This was my first time trying tuna burgers, but I have the feeling it won't be my last! I reduced the recipe to serve 1, using half a can of tuna, 1 tablespoon bread crumbs, just an egg white, etc. I had it as suggested, on a bun with lettuce and mayonnaise. The only change I made was to omit the cayenne pepper. It was an excellent light dinner! The burger was tasty and moist, and also looked attractive with the flecks of orange (carrot) and green (green onions and parsley). Very quick and easy to make. I will definitely be keeping this recipe!

My 3 year old asks for these "Krabby Patties" all the time now! Easy to make and so yummy! I substituted oatmeal for the breadcrumbs, and cut the oil (light spray in the pan instead). Also used about half an onion chopped finely, instead of the green onion. Put the patties in the fridge (even done the freezer) before cooking, and never had an issue with them falling apart. Thanks!

Because I was making this for my toddlers, I made "Tuna Bites" instead of patties. Instead of bread crumbs (didn't have any) I used Parmesan Basil Wheat Thins and oats (1/4 cup all together). Using a spoon, I scooped a ball out, pressed it into the spoon, then plopped it on the skillet. It made perfect finger-food sized ovals that my boys loved. I served with a bit of Miracle Whip and lemon juice for a "dip." Will definitely be using this regularly!

Nice! I made a few changes including using a 425 gram can of tuna, one roughly chopped onion in place of the green onion, and dried parsley flakes. I upped the spices and added some sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper. I used plain breadcrumbs - at least half a cup - to which I added some Italian seasoning. I refrigerated the patties for a short time before cooking and while a couple of them split a little, they didn't fall apart. The onion and carrot gave the patties a texture we really liked.

Delicious! I omitted the parsley and cayenne pepper, and used butter instead of olive oil. I also used some Vidalia onion instead of a green onion. I added some garlic powder, black pepper, and white pepper. I added a little more breadcrumbs than what it called for, and I didn't have any trouble with them falling apart. I served it on toasted wheat bread, with mayonnaise or ranch dressing, Parmesan cheese, and a slice of pepperjack cheese. I also served Recipe #122143 with it, and it was a delicious meal!
