This is a good base recipe. I used a few of these ingredients and a few of my own because I don't have some of them. I used cream cheese, sour cream, tortillas, garlic powder because i had no ranch powder, chives, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, turkey, and ham. I made some using turkey and the other ham. They are a huge hit at Christmas parties. They are gone in like 5 minutes if that. The garlic powder you have to go on taste because you can put too much in. I have used ranch powder once. Overkill. You use like half of what it calls for. Most recipes you find you have to put your own twist on it. You might have different tastes than others. Some like the saltiness and others like myself dont. To each their own.

This is one of the easiest, and most popular finger foods you can bring to the party. And like one reviewer stated, you can easily change it up. I use sliced peppered turkey from the deli and since I'm not a fan of ranch, I use taco seasoning in the cream cheese. I recommend adding some kind of seasoning or it will be bland. You can even add spinach or romaine leaves for a little crunch. And don't forget there are spinach and tomato tortillas that will add flavor and color to the plate. Love this recipe!!

I am 30 years old and I love to cook for my family of four.... I am married with two wonderful children.... That is them in the picture above.... It's a little old though.... Wesley will be five in June and Katelyn will be eight in June.... I'm always looking for new things to cook and try out on all of my family.... I'm also a teacher to 17 wonderful 3 yr. olds.... I'm always looking for quick, easy, and wonderful tasting food to fix that my whole family will enjoy... My husband is a picky meat and potatoes man.... SO, any time I fix something new that he likes, is amazing....
Wesley is like his daddy and loves to eat meat and potatoes, but he's also real good about trying other foods.... Katelyn, will eat whatever she can get her hands on.... Katelyn has some special needs and we have to watch what she eats and how she eats.... You can check out her website by clicking our link.... http://www.caringbridge.org/tx/katelyn
