  1. WOW! You know, this recipe caught my eye as soon as I saw it and I decided rightaway that I had to make it today! Luckily for me, I bought chow mein noodles for the first time yesterday evening at Publix. I have never eaten chow mein noodles before, so I really didn't know how this would turn out...but, I was VERY INTERESTED TO TRY! I also had Ghiraldeli's milk chocolate on hand and I substituted the oil with butter. These were so cute when done{I made them at 10:30am and we had them after dinner at 7:30pm}. So, they were refrigerated right from 11am till 7:30pm. These are just so cute and nice! I've made one more batch to share with someone tomorrow:) I really am missing not being able to share these with the little kids who were my best friends' in Oman. SIGH! Someday, I will. Thank you so much for posting!

  3. This is wonderful because 1. they are very yummy 2. they are very easy to put together and 3. they are so dang cute! I did these for my son's preschool class and the teacher even brought the director in to see them. I just used a tablespoon and slapped it down on the pan. I used my fingertips to form the nest. Easy peasy!

  4. In regards to queenofcamping comment about it sticking to fingers. I had the same problem but fixed it right away by spraying butter flavored pam on my fingers before molding. Just a suggestion. Thanks, Helen

  5. These were so easy to make and very cute. I found it easy to make the nests without a mess, by just using a couple of spoons to drop the mixture and form the nests. Will make again for Easter. Thank you!

In the words of Tracy Byrd, "I'm from the country & I like it that way"!! On May 1, 2008 my husband and I started a new adventure. We'll be living in a 37 foot RV while our new home is under construction. Its out in the country on a dead end dirt road with lots of trees. For the next 4 months or so, most meals will be cooked on the BBQ and life will be full of challenges! We love spending quality time with our friends & family - especially the grandkids!! The photo is 4 generations - my 84 year old mother, myself, my daughter & my youngest granddaughter - taken at the end of 2006. I've participated in many contests & events here on Zaar but this is the first banner that I've posted. My thanks to Dreamgoddess for hosting the contest & SusieD for the banner design! <img src="http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f249/Dreamgoddess555/Narrow1-1.jpg">
