30 frosted cupcakes
ingredients
- 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 10 ounces semisweet chocolate
- 1 cup butter
- 5 cups powdered sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup whole milk
directions
- Melt chocolates and butter over double boiler.
- Stir until smooth.
- Set aside to cool slightly.
- Sift powdered sugar and salt into a bowl.
- Combine milk and vanilla.
- Add milk/vanilla mixture to sugar/salt mixture.
- Whisk until incorporated.
- Add melted chocolate/butter mixture to milk/vanilla/sugar/salt mixture.
- Stir until smooth.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Everyone that tried it LOVED it! Very Rich... After everything was combined I set the bowl with frosting in a very large bowl filled with ice and blended until thick and creamy. Be careful not to get any ice/water in the frosting. Blending over the bowl of ice helped to thicken and chill this YUMMY YUMMY frosting! Thank you so much for posting this recipe!
