ingredients

• 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
• 1 small shallot, very finely chopped
• 2 tablespoons pickled gherkins, very finely chopped
• 1⁄2 teaspoon prepared English mustard
• 1 teaspoon dried parsley
• salt and black pepper
• lemon juice, to taste

directions

1. Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl.
2. Refrigerate until required.
