Sweet Pork Chops

"I found this to be way to sweet but it got rave reviews from everyone else, especially the kids!! Not sure if it came from a book or online. The sweet potatoes took a LONG time to cook, longer than the meat, so cut them small! Also, I did NOT brown the chops first and it worked out just fine!"

• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 4 pork chops
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 1 cup sliced onion
• 2 tablespoons chicken broth
• 1 (20 ounce) can apple pie filling
• 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and chunked
• salt
• pepper

directions

1. Brown chops in the oil with salt and pepper.
2. Place onion and sweet potatoes on the bottom of crock pot.
3. Place chops on top of onions.
4. Add broth.
5. Coat evenly with pie filling.
6. Cook on low 5-6 hours.
