  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan; set aside.
  • With mixer, cream together eggs and sugar; add flour, baking powder, salt, melted butter and almond extract, beating until just mixed. Spread into prepared baking pan and sprinkle with the almonds.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until tested done and lightly browned. Cool and cut into bars.

  1. I made this recipe yesterday it was such fun. I added coconut to the batter because we had some leftover and my husband requested it. It was perfect. I put almonds and sprinkles on top. Sorry the photos aren't great. Will definitely make this again, they're so simple. One photo is the before shot and the other two after it cooled a bit out of the oven.

Tweaks

  1. Added coconut flakes to the recipe and I used a teaspoon each of vanilla and good almond extract. Absolutely perfect balance.
