- 1 (14 ounce) can spinach, well drained
- 1 lb frozen bread dough, 1 loaf
- 1 1⁄2 cups monterey jack cheese with chili peppers
- 1 egg
directions
- preheat oven to 400.
- lightly grease cookie sheet, set aside.
- drain spinach well, set aside.
- roll thawed dough into 13x6 and 1/2 inch rectangle.
- spread spinach on dough.
- sprinkle cheese over spinach.
- roll up rectangle, jelly roll fasion.beginning at long side.
- pinch seams and edges together to seal.
- place roll, seam side down on cookie sheet.
- lightly beat egg and then brush egg over roll.
- bake 15 minutes.
