  • 1 (14 ounce) can spinach, well drained
  • 1 lb frozen bread dough, 1 loaf
  • 1 12 cups monterey jack cheese with chili peppers
  • 1 egg

directions

  • preheat oven to 400.
  • lightly grease cookie sheet, set aside.
  • drain spinach well, set aside.
  • roll thawed dough into 13x6 and 1/2 inch rectangle.
  • spread spinach on dough.
  • sprinkle cheese over spinach.
  • roll up rectangle, jelly roll fasion.beginning at long side.
  • pinch seams and edges together to seal.
  • place roll, seam side down on cookie sheet.
  • lightly beat egg and then brush egg over roll.
  • bake 15 minutes.
