- 1⁄4 cup fresh parsley leaves
- 2 tablespoons chopped onions
- 1 garlic clove
- 1⁄4 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons tahini (sesame seed paste)
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, drained
directions
- Drop parsley, onion, and garlic through food chute with food processor on, and process until minced.
- Add orange juice and remaining ingredients, and process until smooth.
- Serve with pita triangles or crudite.

As a hummus-lover, I just loved this. It has a wonderful blend of flavours, and I loved the hint of orange flavouring, though next time I think I'll use half orange and half lemon juice. I used only 1/4 teaspoon of the mustard (personal taste preference) and used garlic salt instead of salt but I otherwise made this exactly to the recipe. The recipe is also quick to make and I'll be making it again - often. Thank you for sharing this wonderful hummus recipe, toni!

<p>I come from a long line of wonderful cooks and doing my best to hold up that tradition. My great-grandparents owned a coffee shop; my Nana was also a great cook and started the tradition of baking around the holidays, both cookies and fruitcakes. Currently reforming my menu in favor of healthy dishes lower in fat with lots of grains and vegetables.
