  1. This is amazing! It's not even all done (we have a tiny grill) and my husband and I are picking at the fillets that are done... I had 5 huge fillets, and more than enough spice rub for all, so next time I might cut back on the amounts, but the ratios are perfect for our tastes. We'll be having this with veggie brown rice pilaf and potato salad as sides when all the fish is finally done. For our thick Costco fish fillets, it's taking almost exactly 5 minutes per side, so great directions, too! Thanks for a great recipe!

  2. This was VERY easy, and very good. I only made one slight change. Instead of just rubbing the dry spices on to the fish, I decided to make a rub by adding some olive oil to the spices before rubbing it into the fish. It was spectacular! I cut down on the cayenne, as It would have made it a bit too spicy for my family. It was thoroughly enjoyed, and will be made again. Thanks for posting this easy and yummy recipe! :-)

  3. I only used 1/2 tsp. cayenne and it was just right for us. The fillets were real tasty! Thanks for sharing this!

  4. My husband loved it! I have to admit, I didn’t measure all of the ingredients. I slapped the catfish filet on a plate and sprinkled a little bit on each side until things looked good. It was a little hot for my husband’s taste, but I could’ve been a little heavy handed with cayenne pepper. I would not add any oil to this. It’s a perfect dry rub! He raved and raved about how good this was.
