  • In a large pot, fry the bacon until it is almost crisp; remove from the pot and set aside.
  • Add in the sausage and onion; saute, breaking up the sausage into small pieces until it is no longer pink and the onion is translucent; remove all of the fat from the pot.
  • Add the reserved bacon, the ketchup, brown sugar, molasses, maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, vinegar, and chile powder to the pot; bring to a boil, stirring until the mixture is incorporated.
  • Add in the beans, stirring to combine and simmer 1 hour; serve hot.
