- 1 cup milk must be whole milk for fudge (1/2 cup to make fudge)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
directions
- In medium saucepan add milk, sugar, and cocoa. Bring to a frothy boil at medium heat for about 5 munutes or until the consistency of the ingredients appear smooth. Lower heat and SLOWLY add vanilla and peanutbutter. Be careful, the vanilla can make it spatter! Bring back to a boil for about 5 minutes, cool a bit and serve. We serve for our kids with pound cake. If you want to make fudge with this recipe, just add 1/2 cup of the milk instead of a whole cup , the rest is the same, and at the end pour on wax paper and cool to form a harder fudge. Fudge is a bit tricky on the timing. Sometimes doesn't set up as well if the time/temp is not right on.
