ingredients
- 2 cups fresh bean sprouts
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
directions
- Heat oil.
- Add chopped onion and fry for 2 minutes.
- Stir in salt and bean sprouts.
- Cook and stir over medium heat for 3-5 minutes, or until as done as you like.
- Serve immediately.

I added mushrooms also, used sesame seed oil and a little butter. After onions, mushrooms and bean sprouts were cooked, I sprinkled on a little (not too much, add slowly and taste as you go) strawberry balsamic glaze. I served this with my T-bone steak for mother’s day and it was a hit! And bean sprouts are so good for you!!
