- 1 cup milk
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1 lb ricotta cheese, whole milk
- 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1⁄3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 1 egg yolk
directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Scald milk and butter - let cool.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a blender until smooth - add cooled milk and butter.
- Pour into a 9 inch pie plate.
- Optional - Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes.
