15 Recession 2009 Pate Balls

ingredients
- 125 g cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 50 g deviled ham
- 1⁄2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1⁄2 onion, finely minced
- 2 garlic cloves, finely minced or 2 garlic, finely minced, to taste
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin
- 50 g chopped walnuts or 50 g crackers, crushed
directions
- After mincing or processing the onion and garlic, pour off any excess liquid; thoroughly mix all the ingredients except the walnuts or crackers; shape into 1" balls and roll the balls in the chopped walnuts or crushed crackers.
- Chill for at least 2 hours.
- Enjoy with drinks and friends.

July 2008 update: VERY happy to be back on Zaar after about a two year absence due to having had no internet connection at home, and having been too unwell for a time so that getting re-connected wasn't even a priority!
