Excellent recipe, very tender and delicious. My 12-year-old son found this recipe for rabbits he is hunting. This is his favorite so far. We used chicken broth instead of wine, 5.5 oz. can of V8 instead of tomato sauce, and chopped tomatoes with Italian seasoning, omitted the thyme. Makes plenty of sauce, and fall off the bone rabbit that my son says tastes like chicken! :)

Delicious Recipe!!! A+ I had to tweak it a bit because of what I had on hand. I used Hunts "Zesty Spicy" spaghetti sauce and instead of diced tomatos, I used Rotel diced tomatos and green chilis...the rest was the same. I was very pleased with how it turned out using some different variations of the ingredients out of neccessity. It had a kick to it because of the spicy items i used, but we like things spicy. The meat fell off the bone and even the kids raved about it. I will definitely make this again. Btw.....this was my first time trying rabbit and I'm not a big wild game eater. This passed the picky eater test. I will try to post a photo.
