  • Cook chicken in a large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 2 minutes on each side. Add vegetables; cover. Cook 5 minutes.
  • Stir in spaghetti sauce. Simmer 5 minutes on medium heat or until chicken is cooked through (165 degrees).
  • Top with cheese.

  1. I chose this recipe to use up an open jar of spaghetti sauce, and my family definitely enjoyed it. Instead of cooking it as suggested, I just threw everything except the cheese in a slow cooker, cooked it on high for 4 hours, and sprinkled the cheese on when I served it.
     
  2. This was really good. I did a few things different though. I used fresh bell peppers, onion, and garlic. My kids, and husband loved it. My Grandfather who doesn't like much of anything loved it also!!!
