Pizza Balls

"This is a great recipe to try. I make it from time to time just to have the flavor of pizza without the crust. I believe you will find theses to be good also."

"Hello to everyone! :) This is of me in the year 2007 and my Icon is my two boys. I am from Lakewood Wa. but I am orginally from Hickory North Carolina, where I was born and raised.I moved to Washington to marry my second husband, who I met on the internet from a dating site called kiss.com. We both enjoy fishing. Mineral Lake is where we go on the weekends during the fishing season. I talk about going to the lake alot but its just because I love to get away from the big city since I'm a country girl at heart. I enjoy this website and I really love the new recipes I have found. Did I mention I love this site!! ? :) Participation & Awards: <img src="http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/DUCHESS13/world.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com"> <img src="http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/DUCHESS13/ZaarWorldTourPartBanner.gif" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com"> <img src="http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b280/carolinamoon21/Derfcookathon.jpg"><img src="http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-11/484938/Spelling-Bee-stick2jpg.jpg"><img src="http://www.recipezaar.com/members/home/1956/holidaylightssticker.jpg"> <img src="http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b280/carolinamoon21/Ingredients/Kaffee-sticker.jpg"><img src="http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b280/carolinamoon21/Ingredients/PastastickerJPEG.jpg"> <li><img src="http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b280/carolinamoon21/Ingredients/Flourpowersticker.jpg"><img src="http://www.recipezaar.com/members/home/1956/SoupsandsaladSTICKER.jpg"><img src="http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b280/carolinamoon21/Ingredients/TasteofYellowSTICKER.jpg"> <img src="http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b280/carolinamoon21/Ingredients/BBQlSTKR.jpg"> <img src="http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b280/carolinamoon21/Ingredients/FISHSEAFDSTICKER.jpg"> <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/AMpageSticker.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/RedRose_FSsticker.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"><img src="http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b280/carolinamoon21/Ingredients/BANNERS/LiteLowSTKR.jpg"><img src="http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b280/carolinamoon21/Ingredients/EZSTKR.jpg"> <style>body { background: url("http://www.hillcountry24x7.com/files/ampIMAGE_page_images/Flag%20-%204th%20of%20July._original1.large1.jpg");background-repeat: repeat; }</style>"

These were certainly delicious! I sauteed the onions and peppers, heated up the sausage and added the sauce. It looked like no way there was enough sauce so I added more. I should have followed the recipe however, because when I added the bisquick and cheese it was too wet. Had to add more bisquick. LOL! Silly girl. No worries however I served these to a crowd and everyone loved them even if they did resemble fat cookies instead of balls.

We found these to be quite good, and simple to make. I used recipe #178446 for the meat. I made balls a little smaller than golf-ball size, and they baked in twenty minutes.

I must have done something very wrong, as mine didn't turn out at all. They came out very mushy even though I made very small balls and baked for the entire twenty minutes. They also flattened out more than the other bisquick sausage balls I've made. The only thing I can think of is that the pizza sauce was not supposed to go into the mixture and was to be a dip instead? I'll have to try that instead, because I really want this to work....the flavors sound terrific.

Very good, mine were a little dry, I'd maybe make some extra sauce for dipping next time. I made these for a playdate and to my surprise, the kids wouldn't touch 'em. More for me I guess! Thanks.

I made these yesterday and they are very good, hard to stop eating so I froze some! I did cook the sausage 1st and glad I did as I got alot of fat out and I only had havarti cheese but they were very yummy, next time I might make them in a muffin tray. Thanks for the recipe, I'll be making these again.
