Pesto

"This is a classic, fresh pesto recipe with old-world charm. You will never taste a better pesto!"

• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup parmesan cheese
• 1⁄2 cup olive oil
• 1⁄4 cup pine nuts
• 3 ounces basil
• 3 garlic cloves
• 1 lb pasta (your choice)

directions

1. Lightly toast the pine nuts over medium heat on non-stick pan (no need for non-stick spray).
2. Combine all ingredients in food processor, and mix until generally smooth.
3. Combine pesto mixture with cooked pasta and toss to coat.

I so appreciate the weight for the basil! I always wonder if I've packed too loose or too much! This recipe takes the guessing out of it! Thank you!
