ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup low-fat milk
directions
- bring water and sugar to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
- remove from heat and stir in peanut butter, mix well and then add milk.
- cool for 10-15 minutes.
- pour into6 (5 oz) paper cups.
- add wooden sticks.
- freeze until firm.
- remove 3 minutes before serving --
- peel off paper cups.

This was really a fun project for the kids. When we peeled off the paper cup it seemed that the milk and peanut butter had separated...not that the kids cared. I almost feel like i should have warmed the milk or simmered the mixture a bit as it never seemed to combine. However, I am sure this is my fault and not that of the recipe. We also added some mini chocolate chips to the cups before filling, so who knows if that contributed in some way to the separation. I will try again without the chips. Anyway, fun idea, fun results!
