  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • Make crust: Mix Bisquick, sugar and almonds.
  • Cut in butter until well blended, or mix in food processor.
  • Press into bottom of lightly greased or lined 9"x13" baking pan.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, until beginning to brown.
  • Cool slightly.
  • While crust is baking, peel, pit and slice the peaches.
  • Combine with sugar, brown sugar, and lemon juice, and toss to mix.
  • Stir preserves to ensure spreadable consistency. Add a small amount of water if necessary.
  • Spread evenly over warm crust.
  • Arrange peach slices evenly over jam.
  • Combine brown sugar and nuts and sprinkle over top.
  • Return to oven and bake for 30-45 minutes, until edges are browned and bubbly and peaches have begun to soften.
  • Cool and slice into squares.

  1. I don't like bisquick in sweets so I used Flour, Powdered sugar and water.. Very good
     
  2. Couldn't find any nice peaches for this recipe so used 5 not-so-large peaches from canned halves! It worked well enough for me, but would certainly like to try this another time with fresh fruit! Still this recipe makes for a very tasty peach treat!
