We liked the flavor of these bars a lot. As another reviewer said, the peanuts didn't stick as well as they should. The next time I make this, I plan to heat the milk, chips, and butter together until the chips melt. I found that adding the the milk to the already melted chips cooled the mixture down too much and made it difficult to spread over the peanuts because it was so stiff.

Great recipe - I've tried making these in a 13x9 pan without much luck. I did melt the chips, butter and sweetened condensed milk all together, no problems doing it that way. As another reviewer noted, I did push down a bit on the peanuts on top and haven't had any issues with them falling off. I keep them in the freezer and then take out a few minutes before serving - yum.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!!
I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch.
We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
