  2. This recipe is delicious! It was a hit with all the family. I didn't have any paprika on hand, so I substituted with cayenne pepper. It was a bit spicy, but still great. Next time will make with paprika. Also, I used organic butter instead of margarine which is healthier. All in all, this recipe is a keeper!

  3. This was delightfully good! Very refreshing and easy to make. I put in 1/2 tsp salt for 1.13 pounds fish, and that was too much - I'll use 1/4 tsp next time. I upped the paprika some, and regretted that too (even though I like spicy). I did add a sprinkle of garlic powder to the seasoning mix (good) and used real butter (good, too). I found the fish wasn't completely cooked at 20 minutes, and the top was starting to burn. Might reduce heat to 350 F next time and cook longer. It smelled fantastic. All in all, delicious dish!

  4. This fish is very delicious, I added salt and also I soaked the fish in milk for an hour first (it gets that wild fishy smell out but leaves it very tasty) I used perch we caught ourselfs on one of they many inland lakes we have here in michigan. I have posted a pic.

  5. This was very wet. The flavor was good, I added a dash of garlic powder and a dash of cayenne, but even with that no one went back for seconds.

Tweaks

  1. This was excellent! i did yellow perch and walleye with this. I also substituted the margarine for butter, and instead of bread crumbs I used Panko crumbs. This was a huge hit at dinner! Even my mom loved it, and she is afraid to try new things :) It took some time, but it was well worth it! Also added some extra paprika and granulated garlic.

  2. This is a great recipe -- easy, quick and delicious! I also added a dash of cayenne pepper instead of paprika for a kick, and it turned out terrific.

  3. My boyfriend is hard to please when trying new recipes. He prefers same old, same old which in this case would be deep fried. I was looking for a healthier alternative and found this recipe. I did decide to leave the parmesan out as he refers to it as "stinky cheese" and thought it would be a cause for debate. I used Corn Flake crumbs instead of breadcrumbs and on my portion used garlic spread instead of plain margarine. My boyfriend actually said he enjoyed it and wouldn't mind having it again. (That's a huge deal in this household) I quite liked my fish with the garlic spread added on. Hope this helps. Thanks Rhonda O.

  4. I made this for Lent. I didn't have any parmesean cheese so I used smashed sour cream and onion potato chips instead of bread crumbs. I did everything else according to the recipe. It was YUMMY and had a different flavor that was devoured by our 3 and 4 year olds.

  5. Our household is gluten free, so I substituted crushed honey corn flake crumbs for the bread crumbs and it was really delicious. The toughest critic in our house (who is six) gobbled it up and loved it!
