Owl Barf Balls (No-Bake Cookies, Pretzels & Coconut)

"I made this for my son's Gross Out themed birthday party. It's supposed to be like an owl pellet (the little thing that they regurgitate) and does look similar. It's actually a peanut butter no-bake cookie with pretzel rods (to represent the bones) and coconut flakes (to represent the fur). The kids loved them. It would be a good idea for a Halloween party, too. And everything is done on the stove top so kids can help out!"

  1. I tried mixing coconut into my no-bake recipe and didn't like the texture. I instead sprinkled the coconut on wax paper or foil before dropping cookies there to cool. They turned out really good that way. Mini marshmallows work well too. I have a chocolate chip cookie recipe that has pretzels and we love them. I will DEFINITELY try pretzels in my no-bakes.
