  1. Amazing! I actually used cinnamon swirl bread instead of white bread, and it turned out great. Thanks!

  2. This is soooooooooo good!!!!! I made it for Thanksgiving breakfast and my family requested I make it again for Christmas breakfast. I made cinnamon apples (fresh) instead of the canned pie filling but either works. I can see this being extra quick and easy with the pie filling, but I don't mind taking the extra time to bake my cinnamon appples. This French toast turns out so yummy- the apples caramelize in the oven and squish between the bread layers- I'm drooling just thinking about it. Only thing I would question is 15 servings - we can't get enough of this so we eat it in about 8 servings. :)

  3. Love this recipe!!! Great for those hectic mornings.

  4. Delicious! Only change was to add a little lemon juice to the filling ingredients. Love a little sharpness to cut down just a little on the sweetness. Had no problem cutting recipe in half, and still had plenty to freeze for another brunch. Thnx for sharing your recipe Dudemickgal. Made for PAC Fall 2009.

  5. Made for Fall 09 PAC made per recipe except to half the recipe since I didn't need quite 15 servings. This was a nice, easy brunch. Not to sweet as was expected and totally delicious. About the only thing I might do to dress it up even more (Not that it needs it) is to add some chopped pecans. Thank you for a really delicous recipe, saving to my Breakfast Cookbook.
