  1. My husband and I both loved this. We wanted it to be really spicy, so we added a little of Tony Chacherie's original seasoning. A tasty little dish! We'll definitely have it again. We served it with mashed potatoes, biscuits, and green beans. Thank you so much!

  2. Yummy yummy in my tummy. Didn't change anything. Delicious!

  3. Wonderful!! I used 8 chicken drumsticks. The measurements for the breadcrumbs and sour cream was just perfect (which isnt usually the case when you are making breaded chicken ;-). The chicken was very moist and the bread crumbs were crunchy NOT soggy and stuck perfectly to the chicken. I baked them on a cookie sheet which I covered first with parchment and then lightly greased with butter. My husband gives this a 6 out of 5! Thanks for sharing!

  4. Great chicken! I used 2 chicken breasts and alot less sour cream. Will make this again. Made for MizzNezz's cookathon 2012.

  5. Very good - I'd like it a bit spicer. As such, I added a T of tabasco to the sour cream, but still enjoyed very much - nice simple preparation too!

  1. What an easy and delicious main dish! Everyone loved this spicy crunchy chicken. I substituted corn flake crumbs for the bread crumbs, and found I needed to double the amount of crumbs/spices. I had some left over sour cream, so will reduce that next time. I'd never used sour cream with oven fried chicken before, and really liked it.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
