1. This sangria was a fantastic hit at my 4th party. The only thing I changed was the fruit.
 2. It was Ok but nothing near what Olive Garden's taste like. I would recommend using the berry mix they sell at Olive Garden. I think it's like $8.00.
 3. Before adding the Vermouth this was very close to the taste of Olive Gardens Berry Sangria, although it was a bit too sweet for me. The Vermouth, in my opinion, made this undrinkable. Next time I'll use a lighter, more dry red wine, skip the Vermouth and add 1 to 2 cups smooth undetectable tasting Brandy instead. I skipped the simple syrup because the Lambrusco wine and juice is already very sweet and since I made my own grenadine using 1 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice, 1 cup sugar and a squeeze from half of a fresh lime, I didn't think the simple syrup was needed.
 4. Can't wait to try your version.. I'm betting it is better than the Olive Gardens.. especially considering the OG's Sangria comes in a box already made.. very disappointing considering the price but then again... NOTHING is fresh there.. bagged sauce, etc.
 5. So good!!.Will be making again.

I firmly believe everything tastes better when you had nothing to do with the preparation or clean up.

I used to have a few favorite cookbooks, but this site has easily replaced them....I love the ease of searching for exactly what I need and the feature of seeing what others have rated the particular recipe.

I'm a mother to 2 kids. I stay at home and provide childcare so I can be with them during the day.

For fun I enjoy reading, shopping & movies, as well as getting together with friends & family for games & cards. LOVE to travel when the $ is available. BIG into Jimmy Buffett.
