"This is the NOG without the EGG. Great for egg allergy sufferers who still like the egg-nog taste, just milder."

directions

• Heat 8 oz. of milk in microwave safe mug until hot (not boiling).
• remove from microwave and stir in sugar, vanilla, & ginger ( to taste - use more if too mild for you ).
• sprinkle with all of the cinnamon & nutmeg ( use more if you'd like ) and enjoy.
• To make it special you can add your favorite Brandy or,1 1/2 Tbs.Cocoa Powder, or both ( to taste ).
• This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled to make for more than one person, and can be heated on the stove top in a saucepan too.
• *And if you prefer it cold like most egg-nog you buy, just refrigerate until chilled, stir/shake and serve.

1. This was awesome! I made a double batch and used less cinnamon and nutmeg (~ 1/2 tsp for a double batch). We also added a little bit of brandy and served chilled. This wonderful drink was accompanied by a toffee biscotti. It was a great snack before dinner.

2. Loved this! Very simple and quick. I made 1 1/2 cups, omitted the ginger, used 1/2tsp of cinnamon and 1/4tsp nutmeg and made mine on the stove, adding the vanilla last. Thanks for sharing :)

3. This is delicious!! I made some and doubled the recipe , it's in fridge cooling!
This is half the calories too!! Will add the cocoa powder in it tomorrow for Breakfast!
THIS ROCKS!

4. I liked it & my daughter did not because she said the taste reminded her of a cereal flavor. I liked the easiness & it was as described in the title, an egg-less flavor. Thanks for the alternative.

5. I love the flavor eggnog and pumpkin spiced/eggnog lattes but find eggnog a little rich to drink too often. I made this without the ginger (I don''t care for ground ginger except in cookies!). I really liked this hot drink and it was as satisfying as eggnog/pumpkin lattes! I I will make this often. Thank you so much for posting this. Roxygirl
