Monster Mashed Potatoes

"grotesquely delicious halloween mashed potato recipe. if you cannot use purple potatoes, use red and blue food coloring to dye them. carrots or squash can be used instead of sweet potatoes. spinach, peas, broccoflower, or lima beans work well as a green ingredient. got off of perfectentertaining.com"

  1. It's a little early for "All Hallow's Eve" but I whipped a double batch of this recipe up anyway & took it to a park-wide potluck ~ It was a hoot, to say the least & a definite conversation maker! Followed the recipe right on down, including the use of purple potatoes, & because I'm a big fan of sweet potatoes & broccoli, this was, for me, a real treat! Thanks for posting the recipe!
