Mom's BBQ Baked Beans

- 1 (28 ounce) can baked beans, Bush's Original
- 1 cup honey barbeque sauce (I use CattlemansGold Honey Barbeque)
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter (optional)
- 1 small onion, chopped (optional)
directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Chop up the onion finely and saute in the butter, until translucent. Set the side.
- Open partially and drain most of the liquid out of the can of beans.
- Pour into a baking dish. Add onions, barbeque sauce and brown sugar and mix well.
- Bake, uncovered for 40 minutes.
- Serve warm.

Hello! I'm a stay at home wife and mom who has just fallen in love with cooking. I was scared when I first got married that it was going to be the typical first year of burnt food but strangely enough, I've got a knack for it.
