  • Pour vinegar over mint. Cover tightly and steep 2-3 weeks.
  • Strain into decorative bottle. Press the mint leaves against the strainer to extract all the vinegar.
  • A few mint leaves may be added for decorative purposes.

  1. I made this according to the directions and waited about 2-1/2 weeks before I strained it. My vinegar came out a very weak green color which does not make it pretty to look at in a clear bottle. However the taste and smell are heavenly. I made a Roma tomato with feta salad with it for dinner this evening. I am going to share this with my mother and see what she thinks of it.
     
  2. Loved this vinegar (actually would be a great base to mint sauce with lamb) and will use this idea for all my left over herbs, putting them in vinegar to steep. Thanks nyte. Made for zaar tag in the games forum.
