Mini Tacos for Dogs

"I love dogs. Especially my dogs. I decided to make them a taco recipe that they can have because they love food and treats. These are good for big dogs and small dogs like my chihuahuas! They should be around the size of your and so if you think it is to big, you can always cut it in half. (Note: These are for dogs not humans so it might taste a little strange if you try them. But my dogs love them) I will upload pictures to my YouTube channel later. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdhj_CTUzI7y8VNEh5FoGzw"

directions

  • Preheat oven to 275°F.
  • Mix flour baking powder and 1/3 teaspoon of salt in a bowl.
  • Add in water and oil. Mix.
  • Flaten the dough into 12 mini tortillas.
  • Cover the tortillas with a towel for 15 minutes.
  • Cook the tortillas on a pan until they get a few brown spots. Flip and cook for 10 seconds.
  • Put a baking pan on the bottom rack of your oven. This prevents oil from dripping everywhere.
  • Spray with cooking spray and drape the tortillas over the top rack.
  • Bake until they start to brown.
  • While the tortillas cook, mix oregano and the rest of your salt in a small bowl.
  • Cook the ground beef in a pan like normal until the pink is gone. Remember to add your seasoning while it’s cooking. (Only use oregano and salt. Taco seasonings can poison your dog).
  • Once the tortillas are cool, you can fill them with meat and add cheese and chopped lettuce. Don’t add tomatoes because they are poisonous to dogs. If you want to add anything other than cheese and lettuce, research before you feed it to your pets.
  • You can freeze the beef and  refrigerate the shells so that they don’t go bad and you can use them when your dog is ready for more treats. I don’t recommend more than one taco per day -- .
