Mexican Sweet Bread (Bread Machine)

"A good, slightly sweet bread. The egg adds flavor, but is not too "eggy" tasting. This is our favorite basic bread."

So easy to make. I made this for our Mexican Food Day at work and everyone at work was asking where this bread came from.

Loved this bread but instead of all 3 cups of white flour I replaced 2 with wheat and added a little honey. Everyone loves it

We just ate a slice of this fresh out of the oven and it earned everyone of it's 5 stars. It is very light and airy. I used the dough cycle and then let it rise in a loaf pan for 30 minutes before baking at 375 degrees for about 35 minutes. This is a really great bread recipe.

Very easy, loved the dough, it was very easy to work with (under ideal bread making circumstances) and made a lovely loaf of bread. I made mine on the dough cycle and made buns. They were delicious warmed up this morning with some honey-butter! Thanks for posting! Made for Bargain Basement Tag May 2010!
