- 2 1⁄2 lbs tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 4 oranges, juice of
- 1 lemon, juice of
- 2 limes, juice of
- 3 -4 green chilies, seeded (canned is fine)
- 1 medium onion, peeled and chopped
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce or 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- salt, to taste
- lime slice
directions
- Place first eight ingredients into a blender; whirl until smooth.
- Add salt to taste.
- Refrigerate until very cold.
