  1. Very tasty meat loaf recipe. I used 1 lb of ground beef and 1 lb of sausage meat. For the topping I used more ketchup and added some brown sugar. Served with mashed potatoes and peas and carrots. Yummm!

  2. Very good Meat loaf, used ground turkey instead of beef and 1/2 pound of sausage. Added a little brown sugar and mustard to the ketchup for the topping, make a good pungent flavor. Thank you for posting the recipe.

  3. This was good and I don't understand the previous comment. This recipe seems low-carb to me.

  4. Shame on you. This recipe is not low carb.

  5. I thought it was good. I'm just not quite used to the turkey sausage it calls for. Thanks for the recipe.

Tweaks

  1. Great recipe! Used green onions instead of peppers, ryr instead of whole wheat bread and pepperoni instead of sausage (just didn't have the ingr). Found it took 1h 20min's to cook with thermometer so we added a little extra ketchup for moisture. THIS ONE IS A KEEPER! Thanks for the recipe!

Very busy nanny/au pair, working for a very rich and snooty family, in a very large home, in a very snooty village. Just in case my employer comes here, please don't ask where I am from, or I'll be sacked like the last nanny was. ;-) I take care of 4 gorgeous, and darling kids. 3 girls and a boy. The boy is the youngest (and my favorite). They are great children, very, very active. (Hyper) I love to cook. I guess that's a given, why else would I be here. Part of my job is also to prepare meals for the family. The more they like my food, the longer I get to stay. (just a little joke) On my day off, I usually go out to the cinema or some dance clubs with the other au pairs in this town. That's about it I think.
